NEET 2022 Dress code, what you can and cannot wear to the exam centre
NEET 2022 Exam scheduled to be help across the country and at centres abroad. Here is a quick look at the NEET 2022 dress code – what students can and cannot wear to the examination centre. Information is also available on neet.nta.nic.in and on NEET 2022 admit cards.
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2022 exam is scheduled to conducted on July 17, 2022. The national level examination for admission to undergraduate medical and dental colleges in the country would be conducted in 497 cities in India and 14 cities outside the country. Students and parents may please note that the dress code provided here is as per the official notification. Also, there would be extensive frisking at the examination centres. However, frisking of girl candidates would done inside enclosures and by female staff.
NEET 2022 Dress Code for Female and Male
- Candidates can wear casual and weather appropriate clothing
- Sandals and open slippers with little heel permitted
- Customary or culturally appropriate clothing / dress permitted, however, students opting for this attire must reach the centre a minimum 2 hours prior to the reporting time for proper frisking
- Accessories or items or objects of faith (customary/ cultural/ religious ) allowed, however, all such students required to report two hours before reporting time to allow proper frisking
- Light coloured clothes with full sleeves are not allowed.
- Shoes are not allowed
NTA is within its right to ask the student to remove the shoes outside the examination centre in compliance to the dress code. Also, jewellery (other than as per faith) not allowed. Sun glasses, watches (even analog), etc., caps not allowed as well. NEET 2022 admit cards have issued. Reporting time for the students along with centre details have shared. All advised to carefully go through the same and make sure that they reach well in time. Also, with flooding and water logging in many parts of the country, it advised that students and parents make necessary arrangements to reach the examination centre on time.
