Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) is a government-funded university established in 2000. Its founding was inspired by the vision of then-Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, who aimed to integrate Islamic studies into higher education, blending Islam with science and incorporating it into the national education system.
While most faculties moved to Nilai, Negeri Sembilan in August 2005, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences relocated to Menara B MPAJ after necessary renovations were completed. These improvements enhanced the learning and teaching facilities and provided a better working environment. This location was chosen to accommodate students during their clinical years at the nearby state-of-the-art Ampang Hospital.
