The Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), established in 1973, is one of the pioneering pre-clinical departments of the Faculty of Medicine. Originally located at the Kuala Lumpur Campus on Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, the department relocated in 2014 to the Pre-Clinical Building adjacent to the Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital at the UKM Medical Center, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.
