Established in September 2015, Shri Ramkrishna Institute of Medical Sciences and Sanaka Hospitals (SRIMS & SH) committed to serve the under privileged section of the society with State-of-the-Art health care with the motto of “Skill to heal, Spirit to care.” The medical college has state of the art Infrastructure along with 385 bedded Super Speciality Hospital in a lush green 20+ acre campus. Here, the aspiring doctors will trained not only in latest medical knowledge and skill, they will also develop leadership, compassion and empathy in health care.

SRIMS & SH has issued Letter of Permission by the Board of Governors in Suppression of Medical Council of India for starting of a Medical College with 150 annual intakes for MBBS course for the academic year 2019-2020.

Lecture Halls

We have two fully Air-conditioned lecture theatre of 180 capacity each with Audio Visuals Aids.

Central Library

Central Library located in a spacious centrally Air-Conditioned building adjacent to Medical College. It has more than 3500 books of all relevant subjects. It also has more than 20 National and International Journals along with e-Library facility. Adequate internal and external reading rooms for students and faculties available separately.

Anatomy Lab – Museum, Histology Lab, Dissection Hall with Mortuary

Physiology Lab- Mammalian Lab, Amphibian Lab, Research Lab

Clinical Physiology Lab

Haematology Lab- Bio Chemistry Lab, Research Lab

Practical Lab- Community Medicine Lab

Demo Rooms

Demonstration Rooms are available for Anatomy, Physiology, Bio-Chemistry and Community Medicine with adequate sitting capacity for each department in Medical College. They equipped with modern AV aids for teaching. In OPD, separate Demonstration Rooms are available for all clinical departments. Similar Demonstration Room is available for Department of Anaesthesia in Hospital Building.

Hostels

Separate hostel for Boys and Girls is situated inside the campus. Both AC and Non-AC rooms with triple & double sharing are available. All rooms are equipped with attached toilets. Each hostel has separate common room with indoor games and recreation room with entertainment facilities. Separate mess for boys and girls are available in their respective hostels. Uninterrupted power and water supply are available round the clock.

Sports & Games

Both Indoor and Outdoor sports facilities are available. Spacious playground for Football, Cricket, Badminton, Volleyball is there. Indoor games like Table Tennis, Carrom Board and Multi Gym are also available.

Cafeteria

Canteen facility for students and faculties are available inside the campus. This primarily serves Indian cuisines. Another fast-food counter and coffee corner are located closed to the OPD building.

Eligibility & Admission Process for Shri Ramkrishna Institute of Medical Sciences

Eligibility MBBS

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)

– Must Qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)

Admission Process

Admission to the MBBS programme is based on candidates’ performance in NEET. Once the NEET results are declared, then the eligible candidates are called for counselling process.
