On 12 September 2011, Malaysia’s Prime Minister YAB Datuk Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak officially launched Perdana University (PU) in Kuala Lumpur, marking a significant milestone in the nation’s medical education landscape. The former Prime Minister YABh Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was appointed as the University’s first Chancellor.
