Transport:

The college has 10 Air-Conditioned buses to transport students and staff from various parts of the city and its neighbourhood areas to the college and back home. Transport facility will arranged to every student. Every student expected to avail the transport facility to enable him/her to be punctual to come to the college.

College Hostel:

The campus life at Panimalar is wholesome, easy and fun filled. It provides the students a judicious mix of education and enjoyment. The Panimalar campus offers to both the day scholars and those who stay in hostel a complete suite of facilities that are very self-sufficient. Thus, the student has absolutely no need to step out of the college premises for anything.

We go that extra mile to make the life of students staying at hostels that much more comfortable and pleasant, thereby making it a second home. The college provides excellent and separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The students are provided spacious rooms with attached bath. Guest rooms are also made available in both the boys and girls hostels. Subscribing to the fact that students need to have fresh air combined with physical sport it offers spacious and large play courts/playground for volleyball, basketball, kabaddi ball badminton and other outdoor games.

Our College has 200 Mbps Internet connection (leased Line) locally networked and connected through Fiber Optic Cables. The central Library server is available for students for their study Purpose. Wi-fi facility in the Institution Campus is a milestone in the history of this institution as it puts the college on the road to paperless administration and functioning. Every effort has been made to provide congenial ambience to the students and staff. Many students in and around Tamil Nadu stay in the Institute’s hostel and study here. So it is well and good if homely atmosphere is provided to them.

The college mess hall has a total area of 28,000 sq.ft with a total seating capacity of 2,500 persons.
It has a most sophisticated kitchen with the total area of 33,000 sq ft with ultra modern equipment’s that includes 2 boilers, 11 cookers (including 2 milk cookers) and steam cookers.
Separate rooms are provided for cylinders, stores, sweets, ice creams, vessels and workers. There are 30 cooks, 66 suppliers (48 gents, 18 ladies) and 14 vessel cleaners.
Separate area is allocated for vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Panimalar Campus provides ATM facility for the benefit of students and staff members. It enables them to withdraw and access cash a quick and convenient way.

Ragging is a disturbing reality in the higher education system of our country.

Central Research Laboratory & Laboratory Animal Facility:

The Central Laboratory of Panimalar Medical College Hospital & Research Institute is situated in the 1st floor of Medical Block. The fully air-conditioned laboratory is located in an area of about 580 sq. feet and performs approximately 2,000 diagnostic tests per day.

It has a spacious blood collection area and separate processing areas for Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Hematology and Microbiology samples. The Laboratory has got sophisticated fully automated biochemistry analysers, cell counters, automated culture identification and susceptibility systems. The specimens are processed by qualified technicians and reported by authorized staff.

Most of the equipment are interfaced with the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and integrated with Hospital Information System (HIS), so that the results can be viewed in the ward and other patient care areas as soon as it gets released by authorized laboratory personnel. A strict quality control is maintained. Effective internal and external quality assurance systems are in place.
