Facilities / Infrastructure in Navodaya Medical College, Raichur

Food Court

As there is a saying, “food reaches the soul,” Navodaya Food Court is the heart and soul of the campus. This beautifully architecture food court inaugurated in March 2016 and caters for a wide variety of cuisines from all the regions of India. It built on an area that covers almost 5000 sqft area. It has two floors and appears almost circular in its exterior outline. The interiors are brightly lit with a seating capacity of 900 students at a time on two floors, serving healthy and delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The food court kitchen is equipped with highly sophisticated cooking equipment and central gas and air exhaust system. The ambience of the food court is extremely upbeat with food themes, colourful interiors, hangout zones, garden and a 350-seater open air amphitheatre. This Food Court complex has three tuck shops serving fresh juices, tea, variety of snacks, and bakery items

CENTRAL LIBRARY

The newly established state-of-the-art Central Library occupies a place of pride in Navodaya and is an essential component of the institute’s quality research and education mission. It is a most sparkling place on the campus providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge, and promotes new learning and discovery. The library facilitates creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources. Our central library functions round the clock for the benefit of the students, the faculties and the research scholars.

The central library is unique in entire North Karnataka, equipped with modern technology and provides various library services of international standards. The library has open access, with latest automation facilities for hassle-free transactions and separate reading rooms for undergraduate, post graduate and faculty members, stacking room with capacity of more than one lakh books, digital libraries, media libraries and three conference halls.

Club & Activities
Each and every student of this institution is a member of one or another club. The club members are selected by considering their aptitudes and attitudes. All the club members meet and discuss their monthly activities and the progress during 3 to 4 pm every second Saturday.

Hostel

The hostels provide a decent and hygienic salubrious ambience and a feel-good climate, and are equipped with all amenities for living, dining and recreation that makes each inmate feel at home. They provide a right atmosphere for intellectual stimulation and balanced growth. There are 5 boy’s hostel and 4 girl’s hostels in the medical campus, apart from one boys hostel and one girl’s hostel in the engineering college campus, providing accommodation to over 4000 students with in the campus.

SPORTS PAVILION

To endorse excellence in sports and provide organized recreation and activity, an outdoor & indoor sports centre has been constructed and equipped with Volley ball, cricket ground, badminton courts, basketball court, table tennis, and carom board with indoor lighting facility.

AMPHITHEATER

Navodaya Amphitheatre is the place for entertainment and dissemination of culture and ideas. With the seating capacity of 350, it takes no time for whole Navodaya to be animated in joy once the lights on the stage are lit. Our amphitheatre is the default venue for all the club activities (like the brain, fifth string paradox, Navodaya Social welfare club etc.), festival celebrations (like Ganesh Chaturthi, Christmas, Onam, and Navaratri), music concerts, food festivals, dance and drama performance etc.

Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre provides the entire spectrum of services from Prevention, Diagnosis to Rehabilitation support. The Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre was set up as a comprehensive treatment care centre with well-trained professional staff and equipped with modern facilities and the most contemporary medical equipment. The Hospital, with a capacity of 1200 beds serves all sections of the Society, with 80% earmarked for free treatment for the underprivileged sections. The institution’s objective is to excel in service, education and research and care.

Eligibility & Admission Process for Navodaya Medical College, Raichur

Eligibility MBBS

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)

Admission Process
