Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam is the oldest university. During the French colonial era, in 1902, HMU established by the French as Indochina Medical College. Alexandre Yersin, the first director of the HMU, was also responsible for the discovery of the bacteria that causes the bubonic plague, which he dubbed Yersinia pestis in his honor.
Founded in 1902, HMU formerly known as Indochina Medical University. It was the country’s first modern university and the second-oldest in Vietnam overall, behind the Temple of Literature. Hanoi Pharmaceutical University moved to the former site of his HMU in 1961 after splitting from it. The Vietnam National University in Hanoi’s Faculty of Science also granted access to the website.

The six-year doctor of medicine programme at Hanoi Medical University is equivalent to the MBBS and includes a one-year internship.

Hanoi Medical University’s campus situated close to Bach Mai Hospital, the city’s main hospital, on 1st Tonne That Tung Street, which bears the name of one of the university’s principals. Accommodation

The library that the School for Health Care Managers (HUPH’s previous name) left behind was the foundation for the creation of the Hanoi University of Public Health (HUPH) Library and Information Centre (LIC).

It has 300 seats, 18,000 printed book copies, and over 8,200 digital resources covering a wide range of health-related topics. Sports

Eligibility Criteria for Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam

Worldwide collaboration
A comprehensive collaboration agreement was signed on May 19 between Hanoi Medical University and MERRO Co. Ltd. (Japan), and scholarships from the company were given to exceptional university students. It also forms a component of the celebration of Hanoi Medical University’s 120th anniversary of inception. Prof. Dr. Ta Tan Van, Chairman of the Council of Hanoi Medical University (HUST), stated during the signing ceremony that MERRO Group, a prominent technological business that manufactures contemporary hospital systems and Japan’s top five medical equipment, has partnered with Hanoi Medical University.
Since then, he claimed, they have been collaborating. 2017 This partnership began by providing scholarships to deserving medical students under extremely challenging conditions, and it is currently growing to include medical professional exchanges and education.
Multilateral Cooperation
