About Government Medical College, Dholpur

Medical College Dholpur has been announced under Chief Minister’s Budget Announcement for the financial year 2018-19.

Under Phase-II of Centrally Sponsored Scheme for “Establishment of New Medical Colleges by upgrading District/Referral Hospital” in State of Rajasthan, Dholpur Medical College has been established under RajMES for annual intake of 100 UG students.

Government Medical College Dholpur is one of Dholpur’s newly established Government medical colleges. The College is Popularly Known as GMC Dholpur. The Government Medical College Dholpur existed in 2022 under the Rajasthan Medical Education Society (Raj-MES). The College is affiliated with the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences and is approved by the National Medical Commission.

Eligibility & Admission Process for Government Medical College, Dholpur

Eligibility MBBS

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)

– Must Qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)

Admission Process

Admission to the MBBS programme is based on candidates’ performance in NEET. Once the NEET results are declared, then the eligible candidates are called for counselling process.
