“Government Medical College Akola is a newly established government medical college by the Maharashtra government. GMC Akola was established in the year 2002. The College is Popularly Known as GMC Akola. It is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and is approved by the NMC.” Year of Foundation: 2002 Inauguration at the hands of Chief Minister, Hon. Shri. Sushil Kumar Shinde in presence of Hon. Shri. Digvijay Khanvilkar. Dated 12 September, 2003.

Eligibility & Admission Process for Government Medical College, Akola

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)

– Must Qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)
