About Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Govt. Medical College, Durg

Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Government Medical College has earned permission from Medical Council of India as a Medical College, in the State of Chhattisgarh with an intake of 200 admissions annually. It affiliated with Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Memorial Health Sciences and Ayush University of Chhattisgarh, Raipur.

Classroom

The college has allotted with 200 seats for MBBS Two well-furnished spacious classrooms have allotted to them where the students sit in two sections. We have so many class rooms with enough air ventilation and all the necessary facilities like Board with green glass, chair, table, wooden student bench, LED tube light, fan, slogan boards, etc.

Laboratory

Well Equipped Laboratory available in department of Pathology, Biochemistry & Microbiology.

Skill Development Lab

Department of Physiology has developed Linguistic Skill Development Lab for the linguistic skills in English and Vernacular Language too. Department understands that college situated in backward but fast developing state Chhattisgarh. Here students come from remote area who have talent but because of language problem the talent of these students remain unexplored.

Central Library
The library at the CCMGMC provides a good number of latest books and journal for reference for the students. The students refer the books and enlighten themselves with the knowledge, provided by the books and reference material. Every student is definitely made to visit the library section for the purpose of proper learning of the subject. It has more than 9266 Text book, 215 Reference books, 30 e-Books and 231 Indian & 476 foreign journals available as on date.

Seminar Hall

The seminar hall, a subsection of the library, equipped with the latest teaching aids, for the purpose of the staff & students’ workshop and seminar, required for the upgradation of the knowledge of the staff. Also Available on Examination Hall- Capacity 150.

Lecture Hall

Lecture hall is separate for every department of CCMGMC. The Lecture Hall is as per the requirements of the National Medical Commission (NMC). The Lectures are taken with a special care that the students made to understand the concepts and a very special attention to the students who are unable to cope up with the subject. The Lecture Hall equipped with the teaching aids recommended by the National Medical Commission (NMC), with all modern the modern amenities like OHP, LED/LCD projector and other aids as an when required. There is also an approach for integrated teaching for the students.

Museum

CCMGMC has an Anatomy Department Museum which made as per the norms of the National Medical Commission (NMC). The whole of it is divided into various subsections namely Gross specimens which made regionwide for the study of the gross parts, Neuroanatomy, Radiology section (CT, MRI and the X-rays for the study of the radiology), Histology, Embryology models, charts and specimens for the study of embryology, and Anthropology.
There is an adjacent room for the modeler for the preparation of specimens and their catalogues.

Dissection Hall

The facility of the dissection hall is as per the norms of the National Medical Commission (NMC). The hall has a good ventilation and seating arrangement for a minimum of a hundred students. We provide the students with cadavers for the dissection and study of the gross aspects. There are charts displayed for the ready reference during the time of dissection.

Hostel

The CCMGMC College provides “on-campus” separate hostel facility for Boys and Girls. These hostels are aesthetically designed, complete with Mess and Recreational facilities.
Hostel facilities are available in the CCMGMC college campus:
1. The Institute runs a hostel each for the boys’ and girls’ students.
2. The girl’s hostel, with a view to ensure absolute safety of the inmates, fenced properly & secured.
3. The student representatives run the mess in the men’s’ and women’s’ hostel under the supervision and guidance of the warden.

Auditorium

The CCMGMC has a Auditorium hall with facilities of LED/LCD projector which used for annual function, cultural activities, conference, workshop, examination & recreation purpose.

Sport and Games

Gymnasium facilities are arrangements, Indoor game Table Tennis, Badminton and outdoor game Play Ground available for Volleyball, Football & Cricket.

Hospital OPD :
OPDs conducted in a separate building in one shift unit wise daily excluding Sunday & Holidays. Consultation chambers are available as per NMC norms.

Hospital Facilities Available: X-ray, Operation Theatre, Central Service Laboratory and Ambulance service.

2. Arrangements and Distribution: Surg-02, OBG 02, ENT 1, Opthal- 01, Ortho 02, Emer-01, Minor OT- 1 in OPD & 1 in Casualty.
3. Equipment: Central Suction Multipara Meters, Central Oxygen, (including Anaesthesia equipment), Anesthesia Machine, Philips Light (OT) Ventilators, Cautery Machine, Endoscopy Unit and Defibrillators.
