NTA Clarifies AADHAR Integration Is Not Mandatory For NEET UG 2025

National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an important Update regarding Aadhar integration for APAAR ID for the National Entrance Cum Eligibility Test (NEET UG 2025). Further, it has referred to the previous Notice on January 14, 2025, regarding Aadhar update and linking to APAAR ID formerly called Academic Bank of Credits (ABC ID). The APAAR ID acts as a digital collection for students’ academic credits, assuring a detailed record of their academics.

APAAR ID Is Not Required For NEET UG 2025

The National Testing Agency released a notice regarding APAAR ID and stated that APAAR ID is not mandatory to register for NEET UG 2025. Therefore NEET UG aspirants can apply for the NEET UG 2025 without APAAR ID. Adding to it, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has stated that it will provide further information.
