About Government Medical college and District Hospital, Ratnagiri

Government Medical College Ratnagiri is one of the best government medical colleges in Maharashtra. GMC Ratnagiri is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences; Nashik and it was established in 2023. A total number of 100 MBBS seats would be added to the medical college, which had faced a roadblock after NMC had halted its approval last year.

Eligibility & Admission Process for Government Medical college and District Hospital, Ratnagiri

Eligibility MBBS

– Pass with minimum 50 % marks in Intermediate (Bi.P.C)

– Must Qualify in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test)

Admission Process

Admission to the MBBS programme is based on candidates’ performance in NEET. Once the NEET results are declared, then the eligible candidates are called for counselling process.
